• Ensure that structure is sound and free from dirt, soil, oil release agents, laitance and any other foreign materials which may impair the bond, penetration and/ or the overall performance of ShaliCem® EWP
• Chemically remove any efflorescence, form oil, mould etc
• Repair any cracks, honeycombed pockets or holes by PMC mortar or PlastiSeal P
• Ensure to dampen walls for an hour before application and keep damp allowing moisture to soak in. Wet dense concrete at least twice, not less than 30 minutes apart. Surface must be damp during application. Do not allow standing water.

• Add Component B into a suitable container containing and thereupon, add Component A slowly whilst mixing thoroughly mix it preferably in a Jiffy Mixer
• Crush any globules formed to make uniform paste and continue mixing. 

• Prime the area with slurry by mixing one part of ShaliCrete with two parts of neat cement i.e. in the ratio 1 : 2
• Apply ShaliCem EWP on clean and dampen surface with stiff fibre brush. Scrub well into the damp wall filling all pores and finish with final stroke in one direction. Keep a wet edge
• Apply second coat when the first coat is touch dry
• Allow to dry for 24 hr before moist curing. Do not apply water through a hose or pressurized nozzle
• Light spray of water may be required between coats in hot/ dry climates
• When surface becomes hard enough, fog spray with clean water keeping waterproofed surface damp for 3 days. Hotter the weather, more critical the curing. Light spraying of water is recommended more frequently and for several days
• For better properties one may go for ShaliCem EWP 150 or ShaliCem EWP 200, which are the superior grades of ShaliCem EWP. For lucrative coloured finish, Apply 1 - 2 coat of ShaliCryl TC 100 E as a top coat. It will provide excellent water repulsive, dust pick-up resistant and easy washable surface as well.

• Apply 25 mm PCC admixed with ShaliPlast PCE 200 to protect the treated surface. Alternatively, for trafficable roof, use ShaliProtek PU HA coating.

• Avoid contact with skin / eyes and avoid swallowing
• Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapour
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection
• In case of skin contact, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. Do not use solvent to clean the contacted area
• In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. 
• If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting

Dr. Fixit Prebond membrane is a preformed HDPE fully bonded membrane that bonds to the wet concrete cast on the membrane. After the membrane bonds with the concrete it forms an integral seal which prevents lateral water migration and makes it unaffected by any substrate settlement below the slabs. Reinforcement can be directly laid on top of the membrane and it does not require screed protection. Dr. Fixit Prebond is a unique HDPE membrane comprising of a virgin HDPE layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is covered by a weather proof protective layer. • The substrate should be cured, dry and free from internal voids (honey combs).
• If honey combs are present, drill a hole and inject ZycoSil+ solution 1:20 in water. Allow it to dry and then inject a suitable grout to fill and close the hole.
• For substrates with oil, grease, fungal growth etc., clean and dry the surface thoroughly before application.
• ZycoSil+ should be diluted with potable water (TDS <1000 ppm) to obtain a clear transparent solution.
• The diluted solution should be liberally sprayed with low pressure until flood saturation is achieved.
• Flood saturation on horizontal surfaces means no further absorption of ZycoSil+ even after 5 minutes of saturation.
• On vertical surfaces apply ZycoSil+ from bottom to the top to eliminate drip-mark formation.
• To achieve full saturation on vertical surface, after repetitive light spray (3-4 times after 30-45 seconds) the solution should drip down the wall.
• Both applications are best done at a temperature between 10ºC (50 F) to 35ºC (95 F). It is best to do the application during the morning or evening hours to avoid peak heat of the Sun.
• For doing any Screeding / Plastering / Tiles / Paint Work on the treated surface, ZycoPrime+ (Acrylic Bonder) must be added to the ZycoSil+ Solution during preparation in the recommended ratio of 2 parts of ZycoPrime, 1 part of ZycoSil+ & 20 parts of water.
